BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The No. 4-ranked Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team survived a game that had 48 turnovers and 46 fouls to beat Millikin 68-54 at the Shirk Center on Saturday (Feb. 16), The Titans are 13-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and 21-3 overall.
♦ Millikin fell to 8-16 overall and 4-9 in the CCIW.
♦ In the first half, the Titans built up a 16 point lead at 22-6 as they held Millikin scoreless for nearly 10 minutes, from 15:45 until 5:56. IWU led at the half 28-20.
♦ In the second, Millikin chipped away at the IWU advantage and cut the lead to six at 15:36 (40-34).
♦ On "Seniors' Night" honoring

Daniel Oswald, Illinois Wesleyan held a 35-27 lead in rebounds and both teams committed 24 turnovers.
♦ The Titans will serve as hosts of next weekend's CCIW tournament with North Central playing Wheaton at 5 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 22) and IWU meeting Augustana in the second game. The winners will play Saturday night at 7:30 for the NCAA automatic tournament bid.
