NAPERVILLE, Ill. – In the final regular season match for the Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team, the Titans dominated North Central in a 2-0 shutout on Saturday (Nov. 2) afternoon at Bendetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Ill.
The victory will lead Illinois Wesleyan (12-2-4 overall, 5-1-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) into hosting a match against Carthage (13-4-0, 5-2 CCIW) in the CCIW championship semifinals on Wednesday (Nov. 6). Match time at Neis Field is to be determined. IWU is the tournament's No. 2 seed and Carthage is No. 3.

Tillie Bill, was the first to successfully get the ball into the net in the 13th minute to put the Titans ahead 1-0.
In the second period, junior
Brie Siebert connected to push the Titans ahead by a 2-0 score. Siebert was assisted by freshman
Skyler Tomko with 45:12 on the clock.
IWU senior goalkeeper
Zoie Samaan had four saves in her 90-minutes of play, while North Central's Nicki Seiton (67:01) and Jacqueline Clore (22:59) had three and one saves, respectively.
The other CCIW semifinal pits No. 4-seed Augustana at No. 1 Wheaton in a 7 p.m. match. The championship will be on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the site of the highest remaining seed.
