BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team opened its regular season by hosting the Beer Nuts Titan Tip-Off Classic, where IWU got all 15 players in the scoring column and earned an 89-60 victory over Manchester Friday (Nov. 15) night at the Shirk Center.

The teams were even in rebounding  but Manchester committed 16 turnovers compared to eight for IWU. The Titans disrtubuted assists on 21 of their 26 baskets.
 
Who's Next?
The Titans will continue to host the Beer Nuts Tip-Off Tournament tomorrow (Nov. 16) when they play Aurora at 7 p.m. The Spartans were 83-75 winners over Ripon on Friday. Ripon will play Manchester at 5 p.m.
