BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team, who led 3-1 at halftime, battled nationally-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater to a 3-3 tie through two overtimes at IWU's Neis Field on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The Titans, who have a seven game unbeaten streak, are 8-1-3 while Wisconsin-Whitewater is 9-0-3. The Warhawks are ranked No. 21 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association poll and are No. 18 in the D3soccer.com poll.

The Warhawks evened the score at 1-1 when Carly Pottle scored from the penalty mark on an assist from Brianna Reed.
Freshman
Skyler Tomko scored a pair of goals in a two-minute span that extended the IWU lead to 3-1. Her first came at 36:58 and her second was at 38:45, both on assists from Bill.
In the second half, Whitewater got a tally back on a goal from Reid at 49:54 on an assist from Jessica Allemang to make it 3-2 IWU and Kaitlyn Fritsch scored the equalizer at 75:56 from inside the box.
The three assists by Bill ties an IWU single game record set twice by Lindsay O'Brien – once against North Central (Oct. 9, 2004) and at Principia (Oct. 11, 2005).

Zoie Samaan made three saves and Jordan Myers had six for UWW. The Titans outshot Whitewater, 14-11.

Illinois Wesleyan hosts another nationally-ranked team as Augustana from the College Conference of Illinois and Wsconsin faces IWU at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, for the Homecoming game at Neis Field.
