BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team dominated on offense against Elmhurst Saturday (Oct. 5) afternoon, outshooting the Bluejays, 22-6, en route to a 5-1 victory at Neis Field for the "Play for the Cure" game.

The Titans are now 8-1-2 and 2-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while Elmhurst is 7-3-0.

IWU's
Sydney Fox set the tone for the Titans, scoring in the 16
th minute on a rebound off a goalie save to put the score at 1-0.

With 30:10 on the clock, Elmhurst scored on its own goal to give the Titans their second goal of the game. Minutes later,
Tillie Bill scored her fourth goal of the season when
Skyler Tomko assisted to put their team ahead, 3-0.

In the second half, Elmhurst finally saw some action when Kelsey McNeela back heeled the ball in from six yards back to give the Bluejays their lone goal of the game, 3-1.

Bill struck again in the 72
nd minute when she ran past the Elmhurst defense to sneak it past Elmhurst's Olivia Schoch, putting the score at 4-1.

Tomko sealed the game with 86:34 on the clock to cross the ball from six yard back, assisted by
Jenna Baker.

Zoie Samaan earned was accredited with the win, earning four saves. The Bluejays' Schoch (three) and Emily Gordon (two) combined for five total saves in the goal.

The Titans will resume Wednesday (Oct. 9) against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at home. Game time will begin at 5 p.m.
