TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team lost a pair of matches at a triangular meet in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Oct. 26, falling in four sets to Defiance College and in three sets to host school Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
The Titans, whose losing streak has hit 11 matches, are 9-17 overall with the losses to Defiance by scores of 25-22, 12-25, 18-25, 11-25, and to Rose-Hulman (13-17) by scores of 23-25, 17-25, 22-25.
"We are fighting for about half a match, then go back into 'afraid to lose mode," said IWU head coach
Kim Nelson-Brown. "We need to continue to find how to finish through the match."
