Box Score

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team continues to look for its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin victory after a 3-2 loss at North Park on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The scores were 25-16, 21-25, 25-20, 16-25, 12-15.

The Titans slip to 9-12 overall and 0-4 in CCIW play while the Vikings won a conference match for the first time since 2004 and improved to 9-14 overall and 1-2 in the league.
The final set was tied at 10-10 before the Vikings outscored IWU late by a 5-2 margin to claim the win.

"Losing is just as contagious as winning," said IWU head coach Kim Nelson-Brown. "Unfortunately we are settling and we've lost some fight. We still have plenty of season left to turn it around but ultimately the team has to decide. The skill and the ability are there. The mental side of it is shaky."
