BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – In 110 minutes and two overtimes, the Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team concluded its match with Augustana in a 0-0 tie during Homecoming weekend Saturday (Oct. 12) evening at Neis Field.
 
The Titans are now 8-1-4, while the Vikings are 8-1-3.
 
Despite both teams combining for 20 shots and eight saves by the goalkeepers, no one was able to connect with the back of the net.
 
Seven Titan players recorded shots, including: Amanda Kaiser (3), Brie Siebert (3), Alison Seger (3), Tillie Bill (2), Sykler Tomko (1), Kristina Dolak (1), and Cassidy Tomkins (1).
 
IWU goalie Zoie Samaan had five saves to the Vikings' goalkeeper Meredith Chew's three saves.
 
The Titans will return to the soccer field against non-conference foe DePauw at Neis Field Wednesday (Oct. 16) at 7 p.m.
