DECATUR, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team got 13 players in the scoring column and led from start to finish in a 93-60 breeze past Millikin in Decatur, Ill., on Saturday (Jan. 19).
♦ The sixth straight win gives the Titans a 6-0 record in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and a 14-3 overall mark. Millikin lost for the third straight time and fell to 7-10 overall and 3-3 in the league.
♦ Illinois Wesleyan built up a 22-point lead in the first period and led by 21 at intermission, 45-24. The Titans' biggest lead of 42 points (82-40) came with 6:34 left in the match.
♦ The Titans had a 37-27 lead in rebounds and committed 13 turnovers compared to 12 for Millikin. The Big Blue got just 14 points from their starting five and 12 of those came from freshman Chase Robbins.
