PELLA, Iowa - With two goals from
Kyle Gorgol and two assists from
Danny Kenny, the Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team improved to 3-0-0 with a 4-1 win at Central College in Pella, Iowa on Saturday (Sept. 8).
After falling behind, 1-0, on a goal at the 3:59 mark by Matt Woodcock on an assist from Brandon Bautista, Illinois Wesleyan did the rest of the scoring in the match.

Declan Geraghty tied the issue at 15:55 on an assist from Kenny and Gorgol got his fifth goal of the year at 42:43 to stake IWU to a 2-1 halftime lead. Junior
Adam Flaugher assisted on Gorgol's first tally.
Gorgol scored an unassisted goal at 52:16 to put the Titans ahead 3-1 and senior
Jeff Graham found the back of the net for his first goal of 2012 at 56:16 on an assist from Kenny.
IWU had 17 shots to 12 for the Dutch with an 8-7 lead in shots on goal. Titan senior goalkeeper
Tim Hegwood made five saves in earning his third win this year.
