ELMHURST, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's tennis team lost its third straight match, 5-4 at conference opponent Elmhurst on Thursday, April 5.
Illinois Wesleyan fell to 5-5 overall and 0-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Bluejays are now 10-4 overall and 2-0 in the league.
The Titans got singles wins from senior
Brian Piotrowski at No. 1, sophomore
Brian Sorich at No. 2 and Stevem Hayman at No. 6.
Piotrowski took Alex Harbert in two sets, 7-5, 6-4, while Sorich defeated Will Jung in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 7-6, and Hayman needed three sets to top Jim White, 2-6, 7-6, 6-1.
Piotrowski and Sorich were the lone Titan doubles winners, taking am 8-5 match from Harbert and Jung.
