BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan offense managed only five hits in an 8-0 loss to Concordia Chicago at Horenberger Field on Sunday (March 25).
The No. 19-ranked Titans fell to 8-4 this season while the No. 22-ranked Cougars, who got 18 hits in the victory, improved to 11-3.

Matt Hart (1-1), the first of seven Titan pitchers on the afternoon, took the loss as he went 3 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on eight hits while striking out four.
Concordia's Ryan Thorsen (2-1) was the winning pitcher, going five innings and allowing three hits with a walk and striking out two.
Illinois Wesleyan plays a doubleheader on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Beloit and plays at Wheaton on Friday evening to open College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play. The Titans return home for a doubleheader against Wheaton next Saturday (March 31).
