BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's basketball teams are set to play in their respective College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin tournaments this weekend. The IWU women host the CCIW tourney for the fifth straight year while the men travel to face Wheaton in Naperville, Ill.
The No. 16-ranked Titan women are 20-5 overall and finished 13-1 in CCIW play, earning the top seed in the league tournament and hosting the conference tourney for the fifth straight year.
Heading into the tournament with six straight wins, top-seeded IWU will face the tourney's No. 4-seed Millikin (15-10, 7-7 CCIW) at 7 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 24) in the second semifinal game following the first game that gets underway at 5 p.m. featuring No. 2-seeded Wheaton (18-7, 11-3 CCIW) against No. 3 Carthage (19-6, 10-4 CCIW).
The women's tournament championship game is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Shirk Center.
Admission for students of CCIW schools is free with a valid school ID. Otherwise, tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens and free for those under 8 years of age. No passes for parents orseason ticket-holders will be honored.

The No. 29-ranked Titan men have won three straight games, are 19-6 overall and finished 10-4 in CCIW play, earning the third seed in the league tournament at North Central.
The tournament's third seed, Illinois Wesleyan will face No. 2-seed Wheaton (20-5, 11-3 CCIW) at 5 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 24) in the first semifinal game while host North Central (18-7, 12-2 CCIW) plays No. 4-seed Augustana (19-6, 9-5 CCIW).

The winners of both tournaments will receive the league's automatic bids into the NCAA Division III tournaments. The selection shows for both men and women will take place on Monday (Feb. 27) with the men's announcement at 11 a.m. and the women's at 1:30 p.m. Both selection shows will be available at
