ST. LOUIS, Mo. – A chilly night shooting from the field hurt the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team in a 67-57 loss to Washington U. in the championship game of the 29th Annual Lopata Classic in St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday (Dec. 1).

Game Summary
• The No. 7-ranked Titans fell to 5-2 while the No. 10-ranked Bears improved to 7-0.
• IWU junior Michael Mayberger and senior Kevin Reed were named to the all-tournament team.
• Illinois Wesleyan shot only 33.3 percent from the field (20 of 60) and made 8 of 22 3-pointers (36.4). The Titans made 9 of 12 free throws. Washington U. shot 41.5 from the floor (22 of 53) and connected on 6 of 17 3-point shots (35.3). The Bears made 17 of 22 from the line (77.3).
