Box Score 2 BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team split its Friday matches in the Barker Chevrolet II Classic at the Shirk Center on September 30, beating Robert Morris-Peoria, 3-0, before losing to No. 23-ranked Wisconsin-Platteville, 3-1.
The Titans, who are now 9-7 overall, beat Robert Morris-Peoria by scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-11 and lost to the Pioneers, 20-25, 17-25, 25-22, 16-25.
Platteville scored seven straight points in the final set with the score tied at 15-15 to take a commanding 22-15 edge and hold on for the win.

Against RM-P, the Titans hit .320 as junior
Alex Hill and freshman
Kinzie Schweigert each had six kills and two blocks. Freshman
Jenny Darrow had a team-high six digs and sophomore
Erin Wachtel had 21 set assists. Senior
Stacy Hassinger provided four service aces.
Against Wis.-Platteville, IWU hit .136 and got eight kills each from freshman
Maddie Greybar and junior
Katie Rhoades, Schweigert and Hill, who also had a team-best five blocks.
Greybar led Illinois Wesleyan with 15 defensive digs and sophomore
Sarah Blum had 11. Hassinger contributed 19 assists and Wachtel had 14.
On Saturday, Illinois Wesleyan hosts Culver-Stockton at 10 a.m. and No. 22-natiionally ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater.
