The Illinois Wesleyan men's tennis team slipped to 14-8 overall and below .500 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with a 6-3 loss to Carthage on April 29 and a 5-4 loss to Illinois-Springfield on April 30 at IWU's Beadles-Morse Courts.

Carthage improved to 17-6 overall and 4-1 in the league while nonconference foe  Illinois-Springfield improved to 8-11.
