MONMOUTH, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan Titans scored five runs in the eighth inning to tie the game at 7-7, but Monmouth scored three runs in its half of the inning to claim a 10-7 win on Wednesday, April 20.

Tyler Scott (0-1) was the victim of a fielding error and was the hard-luck losing pitcher as he pitched one inning, allowed no hits and struck out two. A baserunner he allowed to reach came around to score on a two-run double by Donnan.

Eric McCullough was the starter and went 4 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits and five runs (all earned) while walking two and striking out three.
