BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team collected 39 hits in two games and won a doubleheader over Beloit, 12-2 and 12-4, on Thursday, March 31, at Horenberger Field.
In game two, freshman designated hitter
Bobby Czarnowski had five of the Titans' 22 hits, including a home run and a double. Sophomore first baseman
Kevin Callahan had four hits and junior leftfielder
Mark McDermott added three hits with two doubles.
Junior righthander
Eric McCullough improved to 2-0 with a six inning performance, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out one.

Jeff Grodecki each had three of the Titans' 17 hits in the opener while senior centerfielder
Ryan Hopp, Callahan and sophomore catcher
A.J. Nathan each had two hits.
Kevin Sullivan (1-0), who had three runs batted in, was the winning pitcher, going six innings and striking out four while allowing three hits.
Sullivan, Nathan and Grodecki all had doubles while Hopp and Scott had triples.
