BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team scored the first 11 points of the game and cruised to a 78-53 win over Millikin at the Shirk Center on Wednesday, February 9.
The No. 23-ranked Titans improved to 16-5 overall and 7-3 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while Millikin lost its 16th straight game and fell to 1-19 overall and 0-10 in the league.

Sean Johnson led IWU with 17 points and junior guard
Eliud Gonzalez came off the bench to score a career-high 13. Senior
Travis Rosenkranz added 10 in the victory.
The Titans shot .458 from the field in the game (27 of 59) and made 10 of 24 (.417) 3-point field goal tries. IWU made 14 of 20 from the free throw line (.700).
Millikin shot .358 (19 of 53) from the field and made only 1 of eight (.125) from beyond the 3-point arc.
The Big Blue, who got 14 points from Nikko Robertson and 13 from Kyle Taylor, made 14 of 18 free throws (.778).
Illinois Wesleyan easily outrebounded the Big Blue, 42-29, as senior
Matt Schick led the team with six. The Titans committed only nine turnovers to 12 for Millikin.
Illinois Wesleyan will play next at Wheaton on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
