Molly O'Brien scored a goal with 2:57 to play in the second overtime period to give Illinois Wesleyan a 2-1 win over Elmhurst on Wednesday (Nov. 2). The win sends Titans into the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin finals at Wheaton in a 7 p.m. game on Saturday.
The No. 16-ranked Titans improved to 14-3-1 while the Bluejays fell to 13-4-1. IWU faces the tourney top seed Thunder (18-1-1), who were 4-0 winners over Augustana on Wednesday. This marks the fourth straight year for Illinois Wesleyan to be in the CCIW tournament final game.

The Titans trailed 1-0 at halftime as Elmhurst's Ali Siebel got her first goal of the year at 13:25 on a shot from midfield and bounced over the head of IWU goalkeeper

The teams battled through one overtime period and 7:03 of the second before O'Brien's game-winner.
Illinois Wesleyan finished with 16 shots compared to nine for the Bluejays. Butikas made three saves in goal for IWU while Maddie Fitzpatrick made seven saves for Elmhurst.
