TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's swimming and diving team coasted to an overwhelming 217-59 win in a dual meet at Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Senior
Angela Lugg was a three-event winner, claiming first place in the 100 freestyle (56.05 seconds), the 200 freestyle (2:01.67) and the 100 butterfly (1:02.74).
Sophomore
Lizzie Egan was a double winner for the Titans, taking the 200 breaststroke (2:34.45) and 200 individual medley (2:21.18)
Five other Titans were individual winners -junior
Brogan Riches in the 1000 freestyle (11:40.79); junior
Kate Haynes in the 100 backstroke (1:06.67); junior
Tara Gracer in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.11), sophomore
Dana Marlin in the 50 freestyle (26.66 seconds) and senior
Andrea Peterson in the 200 backstroke (2:13.81).
The Titans also won the 200 yard medley relay and the 400 free relay events.
