BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team improved to 11-2-1 with a 3-1 nonconference win over DePauw at a soggy Neis Field on Wednesday (Oct. 19).

In a match played during a steady rain with a gusty northwest wind, the Titans scored the only first half goal, at the 8:24 mark on the 13th goal of the year from senior Molly O'Brien with an assist to Jessica Janota.

DePauw tied the game at 49:52 on an unassisted goal by Chloe Jacob, her third of the year.

IWU sophomore Hannah Ketterling scored her third goal of the year to put the Titans ahead to stay, 2-1, at the 63:16 point of the contest and O'Brien gave IWU an insurance tally at 87:40 with an assist from sophomore Tillie Bill.

O'Brien is within striking distance of the school season record of 18, held by Katie Kelly (2003) and Julie Brooks (2000).

Sophomore Renata Butikas made three saves in goal as IWU outshot the Tigers 29-10 and had 13 shots on goal compared to four for DePauw (now 4-9-1).
