Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team split its two matches at the Midwest Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 15, defeating Albion in three sets before losing in three sets to Calvin, the nation's No. 1 NCAA Division III team.

The Titans, who are now 14-12 overall, defeated Albion by scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-22, before losing to the host school Calvin, 12-25, 19-25, 19-25.

"Calvin was by far the biggest team we have faced," said IWU head coach Kim Nelson-Brown. "In both sets 2 and 3, we were able to get leads but were unable to maintain in the middle of the sets.  This weekend was tough but a good learning experience for our team."
