CHICAGO, Ill. - The 16th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team saw its modest three-game winning streak snapped with a 65-57 loss at North Park in Chicago on Saturday, January 22.
The Titans, who led by as many as 10 in the first half (24-14 with 7:01 to play) and held a 30-28 edge at intermission, shot only .379 (11 of 29) in the second half and trailed by as many as 12 at 65-53 late in the game. IWU made just one of 11 3-pointers in the final 20 minutes.
Illinois Wesleyan fell to 13-4 overall and 4-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Vikings are now 8-9 overall and 2-4 in the conference.

Sean Johnson scored 11 points, all in the first half.
The Vikings got 12 points from Davone Robinson and 11 out of Clayton Cahill while Emanuel Crosby grabbed a game-high nine rebounds as North Park held a commanding 39-25 edge on the glass. Sexauer led IWU with four rebounds.
Illinois Wesleyan made 24 of 58 from the field (.414) and connected on just five of 22 3-point free tries (.227) while making four of eight free throws (.500).
The Vikings shot .457 (21 of 46) from the field and made five of 14 (.357) from beyond the 3-point arc. North Park made 18 of 28 free throws (.643).
Illinois Wesleyan will play next at Augustana at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26.
