BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team, ranked No. 4 in the latest national Division III poll, got three second half goals to back the shutout keeping of senior Alli Novak to earn a 3-0 win over Albion at Neis Field on Sept. 25.

The Titans improved to 9-0-0 while the Britons fell to 1-7-1 with the loss in IWU's first-ever "Kicks 4 Cancer" game to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

For Novak, it is her second full-game shutout of the season and the 27th of her career, one behind the IWU school record of 28 set by Emily Castner from 2003 to 2006.

On a drizzly afternoon, IWU got its first goal at the 53:50 mark when freshman Tillie Bill scored on a header after an assist from junior Molly O'Brien.

It became a 2-0 match when sophomore Emily Hinchman scored her fifth goal of the season at 55:48, again with an assist from O'Brien.

Bill added her second goal of the match and ninth of the year at 87:24 with an assist to freshman Hannah Ketterling

IWU plays at Aurora (6-3-0) on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m.
