Mitchell Killough got second half goals to rally the Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Carroll University on Saturday, Sept. 25.
The Titans improved to 2-4-1 and the Pioneers are likewise 2-4-1.
Carroll scored at the 21:20 mark on a counter by Justin Gerhartz with an assist from Brandon Frederickson.
The game became tied at 50:54 on Turner-jackson's first goal of the season with an assist from sophomore
Frank Marchiori. Killough's game-winning goal came at the 72:14 point of the contest with an assist from sophomore
Sam Peniak.
Both team's keepers, senior
Frank Gorg for IWU and Carroll's Tomek Miaskowski, made six saves.
Illinois Wesleyan will host MacMurray at 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27.
