BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 6-ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team improved to 7-0-0 with a 5-0 win at home over Hope College on Friday, Sept. 17.
Sophomore
Emily Hinchman and junior Molly O'Brien each scored a pair of goals and freshman
Tillie Bill added one in the victory.
O'Brien got her first goal just 4:07 into the match on an assist from freshman
Hannah Ketterling and Hinchman scored at the 21:01 mark directly in front of the net after an assist from O'Brien.
O'Brien got her eighth goal, unassisted, at the 24:52 mark and the Titans led, 3-0, at intermission. O'Brien also assisted on Hinchman's second goal at 47:48.
Bill's goal was unassisted at 72:36.
The Titans had 24 shots on goal compared to seven for the Flying Dutch. Senior keeper
Alli Novak made one save in 59:02 and freshman
Zoie Samaan made two saves in her 30:58 minding the net.
