Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team won the first game but lost the next three and dropped its opening College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match to Elmhurst, 3-1, at the Shirk Center on Sept. 14.

The match scores were 25-19, 20-25, 24-26, 20-25. Illinois Wesleyan's winning streak was ended at five games and the team's overall record is 5-4.

"Elmhurst played some great defense against us and challenged our defense with various shot selections," said IWU coach Kim Nelson-Brown. "We did not adjust quickly enough nor did we challenge them back. Elmhurst deserved that win."
