ELMHURST, Ill. - After going scoreless the first four innings, the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team scored in each of the final five innings to post a 13-7 win at Elmhurst on Friday, April 30.
The Titans moved to 15-17 overall and 9-7 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Bluejays dropped to 3-13 in the league and 7-24 overall. The two teams will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Horenberger Field on Saturday, May 1, as IWU celebrates "Seniors' Day."

Zach Scott doubled home a pair of runs before scoring himself on junior
Jeff Grodecki's double to rightcenter. Grodecki scored when senior
Kraig Ladd singled to left field.
Scott, who had a two-run home run in the sixth, finished with four runs batted in and sophomore
Mark McDermott had three runs batted in with a three-run homer in the fifth. McIntosh also provided a two-run round-tripper in the eighth.

Jason Pankau improved to 7-1 by going eight innings, allowing eight hits, five earned runs and striking out seven. Sophomore lefthander
Pat Hayn pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning for Illinois Wesleyan.
