BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan's women's soccer team, ranked No. 4 in both national Division III polls, improved to 12-0-0 with a 2-0 win over North Park at Neis Field on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

The Titans, who were playing their first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match of the season, scored at the 8:06 mark as junior Amanda Kessel headed a ball into the back of the net on a cross pass from senior Alyssa Feulner.

IWU's second goal came from junior Molly O'Brien, her 12th of the year, on an assist from freshman Tillie Bill.

The Vikings fell to 4-8-0 (1-1 CCIW) with the loss as Illinois Wesleyan outshot North Park, 17-3.

Senior keeper Alli Novak made one save and had her fifth shutout of the year and the 30th of her career.

Illinois Wesleyan will host North Central at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 in the annual Homecoming game.
