Box Score WHEATON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team lost a three-set match at Wheaton on Tuesday, Oct. 26 by scores of 23-25, 21-25, 29-31. In the third set, neither team had more than a one-point edge from 20-20 on.
Illinois Wesleyan falls to 9-18 overall and 0-6 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while Wheaton is now 14-17 on the season, with a 3-4 record in conference play.

"As soon as we think we've found a line-up, we lose a couple of kids to illness," said IWU head coach
Kim Nelson-Brown. "I believe most of our struggles have come from the lack of consistency during practices since we never have a complete team. If we can get everyone healthy and strong, we could pull some wins out down the stretch."
Sophomore Hannah Velling led the Thunder with 13 kills, while freshman Hannah Graber added seven. Emily Buyse and Cassie Murphy each had six kills, and Buyse has a team-best six total blocks. Jenna McCallister had 39 assists, and senior Ashlie Pace led the Thunder with 16 digs.
The Titans host North Park at 3 p.m. Friday in a CCIW match that is also part of the weekend six-team
Barker Chevrolet Classic III.
