Box Score Illinois Wesleyan 79, Carthage 69 - Box Score, Jan. 9

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Junior Doug Sexauer scored 24 points and was 10 of 11 from the field to lead the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team to a 79-69 win over Carthage on Jan. 9 at the Shirk Center.

Junior Sean Johnson scored 19 points as IWU was 13 of 18 from the field (.722) in the second half.

Sexauer and Johnson also led the Titans with seven rebounds each as the Titans (11-2, 2-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) outrebounded the Red Men, 38-27.

Carthage (9-4, 1-1 CCIW)  got 22 points from Steve Djurickovic while Malcom Kelly added 16 and Tyler Pierce scored 12.

The Titans remain at home for a 7:30 p.m. game on Wednesday, Jan. 13 against Millikin.
