Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Freshman Tim Griffin scored both Illinois Wesleyan goals within 15 seconds to give the Titans a 2-0 men's soccer win over Monmouth at Neis Field on Sept. 18.

The Titans improved to 3-1-2 with the win while Monmouth falls to 1-4.

Griffin got his first goal on assists from Paulo Michelini and Kyle Gorgol at the 25:53 mark of the first half, then collected his second goal of the game (and third of the season) at the 25:38 mark, again on an assist from Michelini.

Senior Win Fisher and Frank Gorg combined for the shutout with no saves. IWU outshot the Scots, 14-3.

IWU plays host to Centre at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
