Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team opened its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin campaign with a four-set win over Wheaton on Sept. 15 at the Shirk Center.
The Titans won their sixth straight match and improved to 8-2 overall by downing the Thunder, 25-21, 25-21, 19-25, 25-23.
Senior 
Emily Hagen had a team-high 18 kills and a .517 hitting percentage with three blocks while current CCIW "Offensive Player of the Week" 
Lori Johnson had 14 kills with four blocks and sophomore 
Gaby Johnson added 12 kills.
Stacy Hassinger made 50 set assists, nine digs and three blocks. Senior libero 
Jackie Wrobel had 16 digs and freshman 
Jessica Spence had 10 digs.
"I thought Wheaton did a nice job trying to take us out of system tonight," said IWU coach 
Kim Nelson-Brown. "They definitely found some of our weaknesses and our players took some time adjusting.  Ultimately it was a win, but we need to clean some things up for this weekend."
IWU hosts St. Scholastica at 11 a.m. and Webster at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
