Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 10 ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team claimed a 3-1 win over No. 15 rated Chicago at IWU's Neis Field on Sept. 12.
The Titans improved to 3-0-2 while the Maroons fell to 3-1.
Elizabeth Sinclair opened the scoring for IWU at the 30:49 mark of the first half, the only first half scoring, on an assist from
Emily Hinchman.
The rest of the scoring came in the game's final eight minutes.
Molly O'Brien put the Titans ahead 2-0 at the 83:24 mark after another assist from Hinchman before Chicago's Claire Gill scored on a pass from Katie Klamann at 88:39.
O'Brien then found the back of the net for a second time at 89:26 on an assist from
Annmarie Dolak.
