BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Senior Kevin Goshorn was three-for-three with a home run, two doubles and three runs batted in, while also pitching the first five innings and allowing only one hit in Illinois Wesleyan's 7-1 win over Fontbonne on April 15 at Horenberger Field.

Goshorn (2-0) struck out four in five frames while freshman Pat Hayn and junior Geoff Page also struck out two in their one inning of work in relief.

Goshorn gave himself all the offense he needed, but Mike Morrissey contributed two hits and runs batted in came from junior second baseman Brett Moore, junior first baseman Casey McIntosh, sophomore third baseman Jeff Grodecki and senior shortstop Tim Marzec.

IWU improved to 17-8 overall and will play a single game at North Central at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16.
