Box Score 2 ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team split a pair of games in St. Louis on Saturday, March 21, losing to Benedictine, 6-4, before coming from behind to down Washington U., 8-4.
The Titans (6-5 overall) outhit Benedictine, 10-6, but was outscored 6-4 in losing to the Eagles. Senior designated hitter
Kevin Goshorn had three of IWU's 10 hits with a double.

Casey McIntosh each had two hits to lead IWU offensively as the Titans plated two runs in the first and one in the third and fifth innings.

Pat Kirchhofer (0-2) got the loss on the mound, pitching four innings, allowing six hits, walking three and striking out two.
Alex Tosi pitched four hitless frames in relief, striking out six.
IWU rallied to claim an 8-4 win against Washington U. in a game late Saturday afternoon. Moore and
Mike Morrissey each had three hits for IWU while Marzec had two hits and two RBI, Charlie Cappozzoli had two runs batted in and
Jeff Grodecki drove home two runs.
Joe Froelich piched eight innings for the win, allowing six hits and striking out six. None of his four runs allowed were earned.
