MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Rightfielder Mike Morrissey had five runs batted in and third baseman Jeff Grodecki had four RBI as the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team pounded out 15 hits in beating Christian Brothers, 17-2, on March 19 in Memphis, Tenn.

The Titans scored three runs in the second and fourth innings, six in the third and five more in the seventh.

Morrissey and Grodecki each had three hits and each had a home run with Grodecki adding a double. Kraig Ladd also had a home run while Casey McIntosh had two hits with a double and Brett Moore also had a double.

Kevin Goshorn pitched the first inning for IWU and picked up the win as nine Wesleyan hurlers struck out eight batters and scattered two hits.

The Titans will play Benedictine (10 a.m.) and Washington U. (4 p.m.) in St. Louis on Saturday, March 21.
