SAUGET, Ill. - Senior Joe Froelich did not allow an opposing hitter to reach second base in tossing a complete game five-hitter as Illinois Wesleyan downed Wartburg, 8-0, in Sauget, Ill., on Friday, March 13.

Froelich, who improved to 2-1 as the team improved to 4-1, walked only one and struck out four, throwing 91 pitches.

Junior second baseman Brett Moore had four singles and drove home two runs, junior Casey McIntosh had two hits and junior outfielder Kraig Ladd hit a two run home run. The Titans also took advantage of four Wartburg errors. Juniort Pat Kirchhofer also knocked home a pair of runs in the Titans' fourth straight win.
