Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team fell to 5-7-2 and 2-3 in the CCIW after a 2-0 loss to Wheaton at Neis Field on Oct. 21.
The No. 25-ranked Thunder (12-3, 3-1 CCIW) scored at the 9:16 mark on a goal off a corner kick from Luke Partain, his first of the year. In the second half, at 77:08, Drew Golz connected with the back of the net for the sixth time this season to provide the final margin of victory.
The Thunder outshot IWU, 10-6 and Wheaton keeper Ryan Seager made two saves.
