Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 4-nationally ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team remained unbeaten with a 2-1 win over Elmhurst on Oct. 10 at Neis Field.
The Titans improved to 11-0-2 and 3-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while Elmhurst fell to 7-5.
The Titans scored less that two minutes into the match when
Carlie Hoekstra scored on an assist from
Kelsey Porter at 1:49. IWU took a 2-0 lead at 13:53 when
Alyssa Feulner tallied off a corner kick with an assist to freshman
Emily Hinchman.
The only Bluejay goal was from Sarah Harvey on a helper from Valerie Wesley at 17:56 and the entire second half was scoreless.
The Titans outshot Elmhurst 9-4 and IWU keeper
Alli Novak made one save while Elmhurst's Jessica Eberle made three and Allison Korbel made two.
