  • Title
Assistant Men's and Women's Wrestling Coach
Steven Robbins joined the Titan Wrestling staff in October of 2024.

In his first year with the Titans, Robbins helped the men’s program to its first win in dual competition, taking a 43-12 win over Concordia Wisconsin at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Dual Championships in 2025. The growth continued with Austin Johnston and Tyson Zvonar earning all-region honors in 2025-26.

On the women's side, Robbins coached Alivia Davey, IWU's first national qualifier in 2025-26. At the inaugural NCAA National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships, Davey finished 15th, marking the first-ever top-15 finish in program history. IWU also had three All-CCIW wrestlers and two NWCA Scholar All-Americans.

Robbins's first year on staff of the women's wrestling team saw Sifa Feruzi produce an All-CCIW performance at the conference championships in 2025. Feruzi became the first Titan in the women’s program history to claim all-conference honors, doing so with a third-place finish at 180 pounds.

Robbins, a native of Bloomington, Ill., graduated from Bloomington High School in 2006 and served as an assistant wrestling coach there before arriving at Illinois Wesleyan.
