Allie Ketzler joined the Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2016 season.
A 2016 graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Va., she earned all-Old Dominion Athletic Conference honors as a sophomore (third team) and junior (first team). As a senior, she appeared in 19 games for the Marlins, starting 16, and was an instrumental part of the success of a young back line. As a junior she was named to the second team of the all-South Atlantic Region Team and was a first team all-state selection. She started 20 matches and had a career-best with three points on a goal and an assist vs. Roanoke College in the ODAC quarterfinals, earning her all-ODAC Tournament Team honors. Both of her goals in 2014 were game-winners.
Academically she was an Academic Dean Scholarship recipient, was choesn to the 2014-15 ODAC All-Academic Team and had a 4.00 grade-point average in the winter 2014 term.
A native of Bedford, Mass., and graduate of West Morris (N.J.) Central High School, Ketzler is pursuing a master's degree in sports management at Illinois State University.
