Katrina Beck joined the Illinois Wesleyan women’s basketball coaching staff prior to the 2019-20 season as a first year graduate assistant.
Beck graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with an emphasis in business administration in spring of 2019. She was a four year letterwinner and starter for the Redbird women’s basketball team. She was also named team captain as a senior. She finished her career fifth all-time with 113 career starts and ended her career with 200 all-time assists.
Beck brings instructing experience, having coached middle and high school aged girls fundamental basketball as well as developed social skills through bonding activities.
The Chicago, Ill. native is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management at Illinois State University.
