2008: Second team all-CCIW as a pitcher with a 5-1 record and a 2.16 earned run average in conference play, striking out 41 in 32.1 innings…Also batted .355 in 41 games with team highs of 10 doubles, five home runs, 30 runs batted in and a .579 slugging percentage…After only three seasons Hackett ranks first at IWU in both career slugging percentage (.634) and career home runs (15)…
2007: Second team all-Great Lakes region…First team all-conference…Was CCIW “Hitter of Week” once…Earned team’s “Most Improved Player” honor…Batted .396 with 33 runs batted in, 11 doubles and hit a school-record 10 home runs….In the circle, she was 6-3 with a 2.73 earned run average and struck out 51 in 56 innings…
2006: Batted .299 with one home run and 17 RBI…
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two softball letters and was captain and “Most Valuable Player” for team…
PERSONAL: Majoring in business…She is the younger sister of Natalie, who was an IWU softball player for four seasons…She is the daughter of Steve and Laura Hackett.
