Brian Roberts joined the Titan Wrestling staff in October of 2024. 

In his first year with the Titans, Roberts helped the men’s program to its first win in dual competition, taking a 43-12 win over Concordia Wisconsin at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Dual Championships in 2025. 

Roberts's first year on staff of the women's wrestling team saw Roberts guide Sifa Feruzi to an All-CCIW performance at the conference championships in 2025. Feruzi became the first Titan in the women’s program history to claim all-conference honors, doing so with a third-place finish at 180 pounds.

Roberts comes to IWU with 13 years of coaching experience spanning Minnesota, North Dakota, and Illinois. Most recently, Roberts coached at his alma mater, LeRoy High School, where he helped lead their wrestling program to three regional championships in a five year span. Additionally, during his time at LeRoy, he has coached 21 state qualifiers, seven state placers, and one state champion. 

A 2017 graduate of Concordia College-Moorhead, Roberts received his bachelor's degree in English education. He currently resides outside of LeRoy, Ill. with his wife Tasha and three children Kelce, Kingston, and Kylie.
