In 2010-11, Kevin Becker will be in his third year as a track assistant at Illinois Wesleyan.
At IWU he has coached an NCAA Division III All-American in weight throw (Darien West in 2009), two NCAA Division III provisional qualifiers, four new school records, one conference champion and one conference runner up.
A 2008 Olympics trials competitor, he is actively training to make a U.S. team in the hammer throw, In 2010 Becker was ranked No. 15 in the world in the indoor weight throw and ranked No. 15 in the nation in the hammer throw.
A 2007 graduate of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a degree in physical education, he is currently completing a master's degree in sport and exercise psychology at Illinois State University.
Kevin's wife's name is Carolyn.
