Vinny Mangina is the assistant to the director of men's and women's tennis at Illinois Wesleyan. Mangina also serves as a tennis instructor for Evergreen Racquet Club and Normal Parks and Recreation.

Mangina has been an assistant coach at Illinois Wesleyan previously, when his mother Sally Mangina was head coach of the team. He has also served as a manager for the Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team.

Mangina previously was an assistant tennis coach for two seasons at Bloomington High School and is a certified USTA official.
