Declan McGuire has been a graduate assistant on the men's lacrosse coaching staff since the beginning of the 2017-18 academic year.

Born in Lisle, Ill., McGuire played both hockey and lacrosse at Benet Academy where he was a 2013 graduate. After his career at Benet, McGuire went on to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. where he studied Economics and Psychology.

Alongside his position on the coaching staff, McGuire is a graduate student at Illinois State University studying Sport Management with an estimated graduation date of Spring 2019.
