Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

Ben Arends joined the IWU men's lacrosse coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season in October 2024 and will assist with the Titan offense.

Arends is a familiar face to the program, having played for head coach Zach Iannucci and the Titans for his senior season in 2020. Prior to transferring to IWU, the Edwards, Ill. native was a three-year member of the Aurora University men's lacrosse team where he was a two-time First Team All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference selection. During his three years at Aurora, Arends was 3-1 against the Titans. Nevertheless, IWU has not lost an NCAA tournament game to Aurora, including when Arends was a Spartan.

Arends most recently has been coaching True Lacrosse in the area and will bring to IWU offensive player development. Arends graduated from IWU in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
